Tap + on the Home screen, choose your destination and dates, and save. Planventure finds a photo of the destination and sets up the weather, packing tips, currency and countdown for you.

When adding or editing a trip, tap Add stop for each place on your route (up to ten). Set how many nights you'll spend at each stop; the last stop takes the rest of the trip. Press and hold a stop's handle to drag it into a different order.

The trip's Itinerary then shows each stop's dates, a map of your stops joined in order, and the travel between them. If there's no travel event for a move, tap Add travel to add one.

Open the trip and tap the ⋯ menu at the top right, then choose Edit Trip or Delete Trip. You can also press and hold a trip in the Trips tab.

Deleted trips can be restored from Settings → Data → Deleted Items.

Yes. Open the trip, tap ⋯ and choose Change Photo, then pick one from your photo library, the camera or Files. Reset Photo in the same menu switches back to the original.

Open the trip and tap +. In Timeline view you can also tap an empty time on any day to add an event at that time. Pick a category, such as flight, hotel, food or sightseeing, to colour-code it.

In Timeline view, press and hold the event, then drag it up or down to change the time. Drag it to the edge of the screen to move it to the previous or next day. You can also open the event and edit its date and time.

Open the event and add a file from Files, your photo library or the camera. Each event can hold up to three attachments (PDFs or images, up to 10 MB each) and up to three links.

You can also share a PDF or image to Planventure from another app, such as Mail, and choose which event to attach it to.

Press and hold the event and choose Delete, or open it and choose Delete Event from the ⋯ menu. Deleted events can be restored from Settings → Data → Deleted Items.

Times are kept in your destination's local time, as on your bookings, so a 13:30 table in Rome stays at 13:30 whether you check it at home or once you've landed.

Open the trip and tap the Share button. If the trip has attachments, you can choose to share it with or without them. Send the file by Messages, Mail, AirDrop or any app.

The other person opens the file in Planventure and gets their own copy to edit. If you share the same trip again later, they can update their copy.

Go to Settings → Data → Export Data. If you have attachments, choose Export with Attachments to include them. Save the file somewhere safe, such as iCloud Drive or Files.

Get the exported file onto the new phone, then either open it, or go to Settings → Data → Import Data. Choose Merge to add the trips to the ones already there, or Replace All to replace them.

1. Home Screen: press and hold an empty area, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose Planventure. There are small, medium and large sizes.
2. Lock Screen: press and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customise, choose the Lock Screen, then tap the widget area and add Planventure.

Before a trip, it counts down the days with the destination's weather. During a trip, it shows today's stop and your upcoming events, and finished events drop off through the day. Tap an event on the large widget to open it.

Trips more than 90 days away show their name and dates without a countdown.

Turn on Event reminders in Settings and allow notifications. Then choose how long before each event you'd like the reminder: 15 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day. Reminders are sent for events with a start time, not all-day events.

Forecasts come from Apple Weather. For trips more than about ten days away, Planventure shows the typical weather for those dates instead, and switches to the forecast as the trip gets closer. Packing tips are based on whichever is shown.

Around 30 major currencies, using the European Central Bank's reference exchange rates. Your home currency is set from your iPhone's region, and you can change it in Settings.

Discover gives you a short summary of your destination, written on your iPhone by Apple Intelligence from its Wikipedia article. It's off by default; turn on AI Summaries in Settings. It needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence.

No. Your trips, events, attachments and photos are stored on your iPhone, and there's no account to create. To show the weather, photos and place details, Planventure sends only the names and locations of your destinations. The privacy policy has the details.

Yes. Your trips, events and attachments are always available, and you can add and edit them without a connection. Weather, destination photos, place search and exchange rates need a connection to update.

Once a trip has started, its page shows the photos in your library taken during the trip. Planventure asks for access to your photos the first time; screenshots are left out.
